Immersing users into new worlds
We designed 3 unique worlds that users could experience as they chat with friends online and spreading Discords brand presence. The limitations of each illustration were best understood by working with product and trouble shooting the sizing variations from desktop and mobile outputs. After testing, we collaborated with motion to meticulously organize each layer for the hand off.

All in the Details
With various UI testing the product design team helped us hone in on placement of elements to keep the overlaying UI elements stay clean. Each detailed sketch achieves an in depth look and feel behind each world. To best manage time during the final stages, each piece was color tested and given a palette to follow. Out of all the pieces the most challenging was the the space station as it, needing multiple passes between 2 illustrators to detail.
Motion
After finalizing the vectors, we organized each layer in the file to help the motion design team navigate and bring each piece to life. By understanding their needs for the project we made a smooth transition from static to motion.
